Caramel Apple Pizza celebrates the flavors of Fall by topping flatbreads with a creamy nutty sauce, thinly sliced apples, caramel sauce, and pops of salty peanuts and then finished with a sprinkle of Parmesan.
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 8 – 10
Heat oven to 400°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
In a blender, blend Frigo® Whole Milk Ricotta, peanut butter, caramel sauce, Garam Masala spice, vanilla, and lemon zest and juice until smooth. Set to side.
Lay the flatbreads on the prepared sheet trays and brush tops with olive oil.
Now build your pizzas by dividing ingredients between the naan. Spoon the peanut butter Ricotta spread (about 2 tablespoons for each) on naan and arrange sliced apples on top leaving some space between the slices to sprinkle with Frigo® Shredded Parmesan Cheese and chopped peanuts. Bake for 15 minutes or until toppings are melted together and crust is slightly golden at the edges.
Remove from the oven and let the pizzas rest until caramel has cooled slightly.
