Pumpkin Spiced Hot Chocolate is a warm, no fuss, make-ahead treat to offer guests when the weather turns colder. Prepare it in your slow cooker to keep the mixture warm and melty during the entire party!
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Yield: About 12 cups
Add all of the hot chocolate ingredients into your slow cooker – whole milk, heavy cream, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, and white chocolate chips, and butterscotch morsels.
Simmer on high for 10 minutes and low for 20 minutes or until warmed through and thoroughly incorporated! Stir occasionally.
For some holiday cheer, add Butterscotch Schnapps and Amaretto right before you serve to create an adult version.
Serve with whipped cream and your favorite holiday cookies!
Retro Rad Tip: Create a hot chocolate bar for adults and children alike by laying out bowls of sprinkles, gingerbread men, cookies, whipped cream, and fun fixings to adorn the hot cocoa with!
Retro Rad Remix: “Snowy Hot Chocolate” Omit the pumpkin and butterscotch morsels and just enjoy a white chocolate version.
