Breakfast for dinner? Or dinner for breakfast? Pizza Waffles! Easy, cheesy, and delicious remix of pizza night and a totally fun way to spin breakfast for dinner. A handful of ingredients and a few minutes to make the tastiest Pizza Waffles!
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 2 – 4
Yields: 4; small (about 5-inch) pizzas
Preheat a waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Cut the pizza dough into pieces the size of your hand, about 4 equal pieces. Press each piece flat.
Top each piece of dough with ¼ cup of Frigo low-moisture mozzarella, 2-4 tablespoons mini pepperonis, marinara sauce, and/or favorite toppings.
Fold the piece of dough into a pocket and pinch the edges of the dough together to seal. Carefully flatten into a round disk.
Spray the waffle iron with cooking spray and cook for 3-5 minutes, until golden brown. Remove the hot waffle from the waffle iron and top with marinara sauce, Frigo® Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese, and your favorite toppings!
Rad Tip: To keep the waffles warm when making a big batch, place a baking rack on a baking sheet and arrange the cooked waffles in a single layer on it. Place in a 200°F oven to keep warm.
