Melty Mozzarella and Tomato Flatbread

Need a quick and easy dinner solution? This Melty Mozzarella Flatbread recipe is a great no-fuss meal prepared in minutes. Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, fresh tomatoes, and fresh herbs make this pizza ultra delicious. Buon appetito!

Ingredients

Flatbread:

  • 1 tablespoons fresh oregano, optional
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup marinara sauce
  • 8 ounce Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, sliced thin
  • 2 each Campari tomatoes, sliced thin
  • Salt and black pepper

Garnish:

  • 1 tablespoons fresh basil, optional
  • 1 tablespoons fresh oregano, optional

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 400° F.

Brush the naan flatbreads with olive oil and sparingly season with salt.

Place naan flatbreads on a sheet tray or pizza stone. 

Divide marinara sauce and spread over top of naan flatbreads (bubbly side up).  Top with Fresh Mozzarella Cheese slices and tomato slices.  Then add any additional pizza toppings as desired.

Using a sheet tray or pizza stone, place naan flatbread pizzas on middle rack and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until mozzarella becomes melty and crust is golden brown.

Remove naan flatbread pizza from oven and top with freshly ground black pepper, fresh basil, and fresh oregano. 

Slice and serve with Shredded Parmesan Cheese and dried chili flakes.
