Emily’s Sweet Mozzarella Flatbread

This sweet twist on a Margherita pizza replaces tomatoes with peaches and adds mint and pecan pralines to the fresh mozzarella and basil. Makes a yummy snack or dessert!

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 each prepared naan flatbread about 6 to 8-inches in diameter
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 8-ounce ball Frigo® Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, cut into ¼-inch slices
  • 1 peach, cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 1/3 cup pecan pralines, rough chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chiffonade
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint, chiffonade
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Fresh basil, for garnish
  • Fresh mint, for garnish

Directions

Heat oven to 400°F.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, lay the flatbreads on, and brush tops with olive oil.

Divide ingredients between the two flatbreads and build your pizzas. Bake for 15 minutes or until toppings are melted together and crust is golden brown at the edges.

Remove from the oven and let the pizzas rest until the Frigo® Fresh Mozzarella Cheese has cooled slightly.

Garnish with fresh basil and mint.  Serve and enjoy!
