Autumn Ale Sangria

Cider and ginger beer paired with your favorite wheat beer and a splash of brandy may seem like an unusual pairing, but with fresh fruit and cinnamon, it is a sure winner for your next game day get together. You’ll want to make this crowd pleasing beer sangria for every fall party and tailgate.

Lovingly called “Touchdown Punch” because we mix up a batch at every tailgate party!

Ingredients

  • 3; 12 ounce bottles Summer Ale (Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat)
  • 1; 12 ounce ginger beer
  • 3 lemons, juice
  • 1 cup brandy
  • 1 cup apple cider (or substitute unfiltered apple juice)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 lemon sliced, to garnish
  • 4 slices dried apple + more for serving, to garnish
  • 4 cinnamon sticks, to garnish

Directions

In large pitcher mix ingredients.  Serve over ice and garnish with dried apple slices.
