INSPIRE SCIENCE LEARNING FOR LIFE!

Orlando Science Center’s Summer Camps provide a safe, fun, nurturing environment that promotes hands-on learning while fostering excitement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).  This exciting program encourages 21st century skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and communication necessary for our children to thrive. In an age-dependent atmosphere innovation and creativity is encouraged!  The program provides children with a platform for cultivating interests while working collaboratively with their peers to develop lifelong skills that will enrich their lives and future community.

Chef Emily Ellyn makes an appearance during an exciting cooking class meets cinematography lesson in the “NEXT FOOD STAR” session! Held during June 15 – 19 and August 3 – 7.  An action-packed program that asks ambitious young chefs if ‘ You are the next food star or are you on the chopping block?’ And, then in a fun atmosphere teaches culinary skills and the science behind cooking. Check out how chefs, cooks, and everyday people use chemistry to prepare favorite foods and then work as a team to create your own mini-cooking show!
