Ingredients

Cocktail Bombs:

  • 14 ounces Sugar
  • 10.5 ounces Baking Soda
  • 7 ounces Citric Acid
  • .2 ounces Gum Acacia
  • 5 dashes Cherry Bitters
  • 3 dashes Lemon Bitters

Cocktail:

  • 2 ounces Sloe Gin
  • Soda Water, to taste

Directions

Make Cocktail Bombs by mixing together all of the cocktail bomb ingredients in a bowl by hand until a wet sand consistency that sticks together when pinched.  If too dry, add a few more drops of lemon bitters.

Press into bath bomb molds and then carefully remove the top of the mold.  Replace lid and press to pack until tightly set.  Carefully turn out and set on a plate for service or store covered in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Craft cocktails by building in a mixing glass. Add sloe gin, fill the glass halfway with ice, and stir to chill.  Strain into a glass, add an Amarena cherry, and then drop in a cocktail bomb.  Top with soda water.  Serve cocktails with a long straw or swizzle stick. Garnish with a lemon twist.
