Pumpkin Pie a la Mode Martini

It's my favorite time of year!

 

Autumn is the season of harvests, festivals, and winter preparations. Across the north, people are beginning to feel a crisp chill in the evening air, leaves are splashing roadsides with bright color, and apples and pumpkins are being gathered. In the south we prepare for cooler temperatures and, while we don’t don sweaters, we rock fabulous scarves and salute our fellow tanned brethren with raised pumpkin lattes (and cocktails)!

 

You really can't help but crave the tastes of Fall, so enjoy this recipe full of autumn spirit.

 

Pumpkin Pie a la Mode Martini 

Yield: 1 cocktail

Ingredients:

1 ounce vanilla vodka
1 ounce Pumpkin Pie Syrup
½ ounce crème de cocoa
½ ounce cinnamon schnapps
1 ounce cream

Garnish Ingredients:

1 ounce whipped cream
1 cinnamon stick
Pumpkin pie spice

Directions:

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add vanilla vodka, pumpkin pie syrup, crème de cocoa, cinnamon schnapps, and cream. Shake vigorously until frothy and cold.

Strain and pour cold drink into glass and serve.

Cheers to enjoying pumpkin pie shaken not stirred!

Garnish with a cinnamon stick, whipped cream and dust with ground cinnamon.

Rad Remix: Serve with a crushed gingersnap cookie rim.
